Who you are

You have a strong background in construction cost estimation, with at least 5 years of experience in the field. Your expertise includes leading estimating efforts for large-scale projects, particularly in data center construction. You are skilled in developing cost models that align with design intent and project scope, ensuring financial accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.

You excel in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design, procurement, and delivery, to validate quantity take-offs and unit pricing. Your analytical skills allow you to evaluate vendor proposals against internal benchmarks, ensuring that all project costs are accounted for and aligned with historical data.

You are proactive in building and maintaining project cash flow forecasts, supporting financial planning and budget tracking. Your ability to analyze variances and model cost impacts due to design changes or procurement risks is crucial in delivering predictable outcomes for projects.

You are detail-oriented and have a strong understanding of CSA, MEP, and mission-critical systems, which enables you to provide accurate estimates for both domestic and international builds. Your experience allows you to navigate complex project requirements and deliver results that meet both internal and external expectations.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead end-to-end estimating efforts for data center builds, starting from early-stage planning through to construction execution. You will develop robust cost models that align with the evolving design and delivery strategies of each project. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with design, procurement, and delivery teams to ensure that all quantity take-offs and unit pricing are validated.

You will build and maintain project cash flow forecasts, which are essential for financial planning and budget tracking. Your detailed estimates will cover various systems, including CSA and MEP, for both domestic and international projects. You will also evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals, ensuring they meet internal benchmarks and historical data.

Your role will involve analyzing variances and modeling cost impacts due to design changes, procurement risks, or schedule shifts. You will partner with finance and other internal teams to ensure alignment with market data and internal equity. Your contributions will be critical in supporting Crusoe's global growth and ensuring the success of capital projects.
