Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in construction management, with a focus on cost estimation and budgeting. Your experience includes developing and maintaining cost databases, analyzing data to support budget development, and benchmarking for construction projects across multiple sites. You are a proactive leader with exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with Preconstruction Managers, Construction Managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals. Your deep understanding of construction costs in the industry allows you to reverse-engineer unit prices effectively, broken down by trade and major categories.
What you'll do
In this role, you will take ownership of construction cost data from various sources to support future budget development and benchmarking. You will review, validate, and standardize construction cost data by building types and ensure that it aligns with industry standards. Your responsibilities will include leading efforts to analyze and summarize data to support budget development for similar projects across multiple campuses nationwide. You will collaborate with various teams, including Real Estate, Design Engineering, and Procurement, to support complex, cross-functional initiatives and programs. Your leadership will be crucial in delivering impactful results that align with Amazon's strategic goals.
What we offer
Amazon provides a competitive salary range of $109,700.00 - $183,300.00 USD annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
