Who you are
You are an experienced network engineer with a strong background in designing and deploying large-scale network infrastructures. You have a passion for sustainable technology and are motivated to work on innovative projects that have a meaningful impact on the environment. Your analytical skills are top-notch, and you excel in communication, making you a great team player.
With at least 5 years of experience in network engineering, you have a proven track record of deploying and optimizing networks for high-performance computing environments. You are familiar with edge and backbone networking and have hands-on experience with data center deployments. Your technical expertise is complemented by your ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Desirable
Experience with cloud networking and familiarity with GPU-based computing environments would be a plus. You are also open to learning new technologies and methodologies that can enhance your skill set and contribute to the team's success.
What you'll do
As a Staff Network Engineer at Crusoe, you will be responsible for deploying new data centers and points of presence (PoPs) as part of the Crusoe Energy Cloud's global network. You will work closely with the Network Deployment Engineering team to build and optimize the infrastructure that supports high-performance compute clusters. Your role will involve hands-on engineering tasks, including configuring network devices, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the reliability and performance of the network.
You will also participate in strategic planning sessions to identify opportunities for network improvements and innovations. Your insights will help shape the future of Crusoe's network architecture, ensuring it meets the demands of a rapidly evolving technological landscape. Collaboration with other engineering teams will be essential as you work to integrate new technologies and solutions into the existing infrastructure.
