Who you are
You are a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer with extensive experience in software development and networking technologies. You have a deep understanding of Software Defined Networking and have successfully led projects that leverage advanced technologies such as XDP/EBPF and DPDK. Your expertise in Linux Kernel and driver components allows you to optimize system architecture effectively.
You thrive in collaborative environments and have a proven track record of leading engineering teams through all phases of the software development lifecycle. Your strong communication skills enable you to work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy industry-leading networking solutions. You are passionate about driving innovation and performance improvements within network infrastructure.
Desirable
Experience with network accelerators such as Mellanox/Nvidia SmartNICs is a plus. Familiarity with kernel bypass technologies and a strong background in system architecture will set you apart as a candidate.
What you'll do
In this role, you will develop and execute the roadmap for Crusoe Cloud's Software Defined Networking strategy. You will lead the engineering team through architecture decisions, design processes, and implementation tasks, ensuring high-quality deliverables. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the network infrastructure organization to create and deploy cutting-edge networking solutions that meet industry standards.
You will also focus on the design, development, and support of Linux Kernel and driver components, optimizing system performance and reliability.
