Overview

CruxOCM is hiring a Pipeline Simulation Engineer to build and analyze simulation models for oil and gas pipelines. You'll leverage your expertise in hydraulic behavior and software development to enhance pipeline operations. This role requires technical proficiency in pipeline modeling.

Who you are

You are a technically proficient Pipeline Simulation Engineer with experience in oil and gas pipeline modeling and software development. You have a strong understanding of hydraulic behavior and are capable of building, maintaining, and analyzing simulation models that accurately represent the flow of fluids through pipelines. Your expertise allows you to bridge the gap between theoretical fluid dynamics and real-world operations, ensuring that control room operators have the tools they need to perform their jobs safely and efficiently.

You thrive in collaborative environments and are comfortable working closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Deployment. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively is one of your key strengths. You are dedicated to minimizing environmental impact while maximizing revenue through innovative solutions in the energy sector.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for building and analyzing simulation models that simulate the flow of oil or gas through pipelines. You will utilize advanced simulation tools to create accurate digital representations of customer assets, which will enable our automation software to ensure flow assurance and optimize power consumption. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining the safety and integrity of our customers' assets.

As a key technical authority, you will report to the Chief Product Officer and play a vital role in shaping the simulation strategy for our products. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure alignment on customer requirements and the overall product roadmap. Your contributions will help improve pipeline operations within customer control room environments, making a significant impact on the efficiency and safety of their operations.
