Overview

DailyPay is hiring a Payment Operations Analyst I to execute high-volume, data-rich processes within their Core Payments Operations team. You'll collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely payment processing and utilize SQL and data analytics skills. This is an entry-level position based in Belfast.

Who you are

You are an analytical and detail-oriented individual with a strong collaborative spirit — you thrive in environments where you can work cross-functionally with various teams to ensure smooth operations. You have a foundational understanding of data analytics and SQL, which you will leverage to review and process payment files effectively. Your communication skills are strong, allowing you to articulate issues and solutions clearly to your colleagues.

You may not have extensive experience yet, but you are eager to learn and grow within the payments industry. You understand the importance of accuracy and timeliness in payment processing, and you are motivated to contribute to the financial well-being of employees through your work.

Desirable

Experience in auditing or quality assurance would be a plus, as would familiarity with SQL and data analytics tools. If you have a passion for improving processes and a keen eye for detail, you will fit right in.

What you'll do

As a Payment Operations Analyst I, you will be responsible for executing high-volume payment processes and ensuring that all transactions are processed accurately and on time. You will review and reconcile user accounts, consuming data from various internal and external sources to create inputs for our 24/7 payment team. Your analytical skills will be put to the test as you monitor and analyze payment data to identify trends and issues.

You will collaborate closely with risk operations, partner support, and employee support teams to resolve any payment-related inquiries and ensure a seamless experience for users. Your role will require you to communicate effectively with different departments, making sure everyone is aligned on payment processes and timelines.
