Who you are
You have extensive experience in cloud infrastructure management and cost optimization β you've successfully led initiatives that balance performance, reliability, and cost across multi-cloud environments. Your strategic mindset allows you to develop and implement programs that drive efficiency and scalability in cloud operations.
You possess strong analytical skills and are adept at utilizing data to inform decision-making β you understand how to quantify ROI and efficiency metrics, enabling leadership to make informed investment decisions. Your collaborative nature allows you to partner effectively with cross-functional teams, including Infrastructure Engineering, Finance, and Product.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead and scale programs focused on cost, capacity, and efficiency across Databricks' infrastructure and product lines. You will drive strategy and execution for multi-cloud infrastructure optimization, ensuring that provisioning guardrails and utilization forecasting are in place to govern spending effectively.
You will establish a clear operating rhythm through monthly and quarterly reviews, forecasts, and dashboards that provide transparency and accountability at every level of the organization. Your leadership will empower teams to make data-driven trade-offs between performance, reliability, and cost, fostering a culture of accountability and efficiency.
You will build and scale cross-functional initiatives such as rightsizing, multi-cloud optimization, reserved capacity planning, and workload placement. Your insights will be crucial in aligning capacity plans with cost goals and business growth objectives, ensuring that Databricks operates with predictable cost efficiency across all cloud providers and products.
