Who you are

You have over 5 years of experience in sales, particularly within the Utility vertical, and you understand how to navigate complex decision-making processes to close deals effectively. Your ability to communicate the value of products to customers and partners is exceptional, and you are always on the lookout for new opportunities to grow the business. You thrive in building relationships with C-Level executives, including those in Engineering, Platform, Architecture, and Data Science roles, who can advocate for your solutions within their organizations.

You possess a deep understanding of the customer's business and can identify key data use cases and buying centers that will increase the impact of Databricks in their operations. Your strategic mindset allows you to create focused acquisition strategies that align with the company's goals and customer needs. You are a natural leader, capable of guiding technical teams and important staff to ensure successful negotiations and implementations.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring new logos and expanding Databricks' presence within existing strategic accounts in the Utilities sector. You will develop and execute a targeted logo acquisition strategy that aligns with the company's objectives. Your day-to-day activities will involve engaging with key stakeholders, understanding their needs, and demonstrating how Databricks can provide value to their operations.

You will work closely with internal teams and ecosystem partners to maximize your impact on sales motions. Establishing essential relationships with C-Level executives will be crucial, as you will need to build trust and advocate for the solutions you offer. You will document and drive the growth of Databricks usage for your customers, ensuring that they realize the full potential of the platform.
