You are a detail-oriented accounting professional with a solid understanding of accounting principles and strong leadership skills. You thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and are passionate about ensuring accurate financial reporting. You have experience in assisting with month-end close processes and performing analytics on financial results.
You enjoy collaborating cross-functionally with teams across the organization, contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and internal controls. You are committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting, ensuring compliance with US GAAP.
What you'll do
As a Senior Accountant at Datadog, you will own key areas of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close, with a primary focus on compensation and personnel-related accounting. You will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP, partnering with various teams to understand and support business processes.
You will assist in the preparation of external financial statements and support external audits, playing a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of financial data. You will also be involved in ad hoc projects that contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the finance team.
