What you'll do

As the Engineering Manager for the Data Semantics team, you will lead efforts to define and maintain the shared data model that connects vast amounts of telemetry data — your role will involve overseeing the development of a semantic layer that ensures data from different sources can be understood and queried consistently. You will work closely with product teams to accelerate feature delivery and improve cross-product experiences, laying the groundwork for advanced capabilities such as intelligent autocomplete and semantic search.

You will be responsible for driving product value while building durable, self-service systems that other teams can depend on — this includes prioritizing high-impact initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation. Your leadership will be crucial as Datadog scales its operations across new data sources and regions, particularly in the context of AI initiatives.
