What you'll do
As the Manager II for Engineering at Datadog, you will lead a fast-growing organization of around 20 people across multiple teams. Your primary responsibility will be to define the roadmap for your scope and work closely with individual contributors and other managers to establish the technical direction of the team. You will collaborate with engineering and product management teams to define the future of the AI platform, ensuring that the tools and systems developed meet the needs of data scientists and engineers.
You will play a critical role in building and scaling your team, participating in the recruitment of future managers and individual contributors. Your leadership will help create a strong organizational culture that emphasizes engineering excellence and customer satisfaction. You will also work closely with partner teams in the AI platform organization to ensure a seamless AI development cycle, contributing to the overall success of Datadog's AI initiatives.
