What you'll do

In this role, you will lead programs and initiatives aimed at systematically improving management quality across engineering. You will be responsible for ensuring that your teams are aware of and accounting for all stakeholder priorities during OKR planning, consistently meeting those objectives. You will drive best practices in design and operations, using metrics to scale your teams effectively.

You will work closely with Directors and Staff Designers to develop plans that prepare your teams for the next level of scale. Your focus will be on customer satisfaction, implementing processes that ensure the product meets user needs and expectations. You will make critical trade-offs between business opportunities and team costs, ensuring a sustainable approach to growth.

Your role will involve collaborating with peers to solve alignment issues across teams, negotiating new ownership boundaries to enhance outcomes. You will lead by example, ensuring that all teams work together harmoniously for the benefit of the company. You will systematically address growth, promotion, and performance issues within your teams, identifying opportunities to develop future leaders and facilitate their movement across teams.
