Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create intuitive and user-centered designs. You excel in leading user research and usability testing, validating assumptions, and uncovering pain points to inform your design decisions. Your expertise in prototyping allows you to rapidly explore concepts and workflows, aligning stakeholders and de-risking implementation. You are detail-oriented and think in systems, ensuring that your designs balance user needs, business goals, and regulatory constraints. You thrive in collaborative environments, partnering closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to shape product direction and execution. You are excited about the opportunity to influence what is built and why, contributing to a borderless financial system.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own the end-to-end design for core product features across Rain's ecosystem, from problem framing to shipped UI. You will lead user research initiatives, conducting usability testing to validate your design assumptions and inform future iterations. Your responsibilities will include designing clear flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity interfaces that meet both user and business needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship, test, and iterate on product features, ensuring a seamless user experience. You will also participate in team summits to strengthen relationships and build a common destiny within the organization. Your work will directly impact how people spend digital assets in the real world, making transactions fast, secure, and beautifully simple.
What we offer
Rain provides a work-from-home stipend to help you create a comfortable and productive home office environment. We value team summits as an important aspect of our culture, allowing us to connect and strengthen our relationships. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your contributions will help shape the future of financial transactions. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we believe in the potential of diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
