Who you are
You have a strong background in cybersecurity, with experience in incident response and threat intelligence β you've successfully managed security incidents and understand the importance of maintaining customer trust through effective data protection. You are skilled in building tools and automations that enhance security operations, making processes more efficient and effective.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and triage threats β your ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly helps bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are proactive in your approach, always looking for ways to improve the organization's security posture through post-incident reviews and continuous learning.
What you'll do
In this role, you will partner with Cyber Threat Intelligence and Detection Engineering teams to identify threats to Datadog β your expertise will ensure that the organization has accurate and high-signal detections for potential threats. You will triage escalated alerts to determine whether a security incident is occurring or may occur imminently, acting as an incident commander or responder as needed.
You will contribute to the development of tools and automations that eliminate repetitive processes, enhancing the efficiency of the Security Incident Response Team. Your role will also involve conducting post-incident reviews and participating in tabletop and purple team exercises to improve overall security practices.
You will participate in a light on-call rotation, ensuring that you are available to respond to incidents as they arise. Your contributions will play a vital role in keeping Datadog safe from cybersecurity threats and maintaining the trust of our customers.
