Overview

Dataiku is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot internal and customer-facing infrastructure. You'll work with AWS, Azure, and GCP, utilizing tools like Terraform and Ansible. This role requires hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux systems.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a solid background in infrastructure engineering, with hands-on experience operating and maintaining UNIX/Linux systems in cloud environments. You understand the importance of reliability and performance in infrastructure and are eager to contribute to the day-to-day operations of complex systems. Your familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP allows you to navigate various environments effectively. You are comfortable with configuration management and Infrastructure as Code practices, and you have experience with tools like Terraform and Ansible. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with other engineers to ensure system health and performance. You are proactive in investigating alerts and participating in incident management, ensuring that systems run smoothly and efficiently.

Desirable

Experience with Kubernetes is a plus, as it enhances your ability to manage containerized applications. Familiarity with Python will help you automate tasks and streamline processes. You are open to learning new technologies and adapting to the evolving landscape of cloud infrastructure. Your problem-solving skills enable you to troubleshoot issues effectively, and you are committed to continuous improvement in your work.

What you'll do

In this role, you will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot UNIX/Linux systems running in cloud environments. You will support and maintain existing configuration management and Infrastructure as Code setups, ensuring that they are efficient and effective. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the operation of cloud-based infrastructure, which encompasses virtual machines, networking components, and managed services. You will help monitor system health and performance, investigate alerts, and participate in incident management to resolve issues promptly. Collaboration with experienced infrastructure and platform engineers will be key, as you contribute to the reliability and day-to-day operations of our systems.
