Desirable

Experience with LLMs and prompt engineering is a plus, as it aligns with the innovative work Decagon is doing in the conversational AI space. Familiarity with observability tools will also be beneficial in ensuring the reliability and performance of the systems you build.

What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at Decagon, you will be responsible for developing the platform that customers use to build and maintain their AI agents. You will collaborate with the Agent Software Engineering and Product Management teams to understand current workflows and design solutions that scale across the customer base. Your role will involve creating user-friendly interfaces that simplify the process of building AI agents, ensuring that both technical and non-technical teams can leverage the platform effectively.

You will also engage in code reviews and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and excellence within the team. Your contributions will directly impact the customer experience, as you work to enhance the capabilities of the AI agents that resolve millions of inquiries across various channels. You will be involved in the entire development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment, ensuring that the tools you create meet the highest standards of quality and usability.
