What you'll do

As a Staff Software Engineer at Decagon, you will lead a full-stack product engineering team dedicated to developing the platform that enables customers to create and optimize their AI agents. You will collaborate closely with product managers and other engineering teams to understand current workflows and define innovative solutions that enhance user experience.

Your role will involve designing and implementing scalable systems that support the deployment of AI agents across various channels, including voice, chat, and email. You will be responsible for ensuring that the platform is intuitive and accessible to both technical and non-technical users, transforming complex engineering work into user-friendly products.

You will also play a key role in establishing best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing strategies, and documentation. Your leadership will guide the team in adopting new technologies and methodologies that improve efficiency and product quality.

In addition to technical responsibilities, you will mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support as they navigate their projects. You will foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, encouraging team members to share knowledge and learn from one another.
