Desirable

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the EMEA safety and asset protection strategy for Deliveroo Hop, embedding safety into the core of our fulfillment and delivery operations. You will be responsible for building and scaling programs that meet or exceed regulatory standards, ensuring compliance with EU directives and UK HSE requirements. Your focus will be on driving a proactive safety culture by empowering site leaders and frontline teams through effective training and engagement initiatives.

You will develop and enforce operational SOPs that mitigate risks and enhance safety outcomes across all locations. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will create frameworks that protect people, assets, and the brand's reputation while enabling rapid growth in complex markets. Your role will involve regular assessments of safety programs, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing best practices to ensure a safe working environment.

You will also be responsible for reporting on safety metrics and compliance status to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Your ability to navigate regulatory landscapes and engage with local authorities will be crucial in maintaining high safety standards across all operations.
