Job Description
Who you are
You have over 5 years of experience in risk management and compliance, with a strong background in leading Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance programs. Your expertise in US GAAP, COSO, and PCAOB Auditing Standards allows you to effectively evaluate governance and risk management practices. You possess a positive, proactive attitude and are excited to drive impactful changes within Unity.
You have demonstrated knowledge of industry-leading practices and are skilled in building relationships with business partners to identify control gaps and establish action plans. Your ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, including technology audit heads and external audit partners, is crucial for success in this role.
Your experience in advisory services enables you to provide valuable insights to business process and system owners, helping them design effective SOX processes and evaluate process maturity. You are adept at conducting risk assessments and developing risk-based audit plans that align with Unity's business objectives.
You thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to continuous improvement. Your analytical mindset allows you to proactively identify potential risks and recommend process and control enhancements. You are also familiar with the expectations set by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and are dedicated to adhering to professional standards.
Desirable
A background in the AdTech or Software industry is a plus, as is holding certifications such as CA, CPA, or CIA. Experience with Big 4 firms or consulting environments will further enhance your candidacy.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the SOX compliance evaluation efforts, coordinating with outsourced partners and collaborating with internal teams to ensure effective compliance practices. You will provide advisory services to business process owners, helping them design and implement SOX processes that mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency.
You will build strong relationships with business partners across Unity, working together to identify control gaps and establish actionable plans for improvement. Your role will involve facilitating Unity's Enterprise Risk Management program, conducting risk assessments, and developing a comprehensive risk-based audit plan.
You will participate in internal audit projects, providing detailed reporting to management and business/system owners. Your insights will help shape Unity's governance and risk management strategies, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
As a key member of the Risk Assurance and Advisory team, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of Unity's operations, leveraging your expertise to drive positive change. You will also stay updated on leading practices in risk management and compliance, ensuring that Unity remains at the forefront of industry standards.
