Job Description
Who you are
You have experience in a similar environment, ideally in warehouse or logistics operations, and are willing to work 40-hour shifts per week. You understand the importance of customer satisfaction and are committed to ensuring that all orders are picked up and delivered on time. Your ability to manage store openings and closures effectively is crucial to the smooth running of the site.
You possess strong communication skills, allowing you to liaise effectively with riders to ensure prompt deliveries. You are detail-oriented, ensuring that all deliveries are scanned accurately and that any complaints are recorded appropriately. Your experience in achieving targets will help you excel in this role.
What you'll do
As a Warehouse Supervisor at Deliveroo, you will supervise the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all orders are processed efficiently. You will manage the shipping area and support the packaging of delivery orders, ensuring that all products are handled according to company procedures. Your role will involve collaborating closely with the Assistant Warehouse Manager and Warehouse Manager to maintain the proper functioning of the site.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the warehouse remains clean and tidy at all times, addressing any hazards promptly. Inventory management will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you will ensure that counts are accurate and that all areas are counted regularly. Your leadership will help foster a positive working environment for all team members.
