Who you are

You have extensive experience in revenue accounting, particularly in high-growth SaaS environments, and are well-versed in US GAAP and ASC 606. Your background includes managing the end-to-end revenue recognition process, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial reporting. You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable working with cross-functional teams to document and record revenue accurately. You are detail-oriented and have a proven track record of meeting tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality in your work.

You thrive in collaborative environments and are adept at building relationships with various stakeholders, including billing teams and finance departments. Your communication skills allow you to convey complex financial concepts clearly and effectively, making you a trusted advisor within your organization. You are driven by a desire to contribute to the success of your team and the company as a whole, demonstrating traits such as curiosity, optimism, and persistence.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the revenue accounting function at Dialpad, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. You will oversee the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, working closely with the billing team to ensure timely and accurate revenue recognition. Your responsibilities will include reconciling revenue accounts, managing reserves, and preparing financial reports that provide insights into revenue performance.

You will also play a key role in developing and implementing processes that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the revenue accounting function. This includes identifying areas for improvement and collaborating with other departments to streamline workflows. You will be responsible for staying up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices, ensuring that Dialpad remains compliant and competitive in the market.
