Saronic is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to establish and lead their revenue accounting function. You'll oversee revenue recognition processes and collaborate with various teams to ensure accurate reporting. This role requires deep technical accounting expertise and a practical understanding of contract structures.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in accounting, particularly in revenue recognition, and are well-versed in ASC 606 standards. Your experience includes building and leading accounting functions, demonstrating your ability to establish scalable processes that support business growth. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams including business development, contracts, and legal.
You understand the complexities of contract structures and billing processes, ensuring that revenue is recognized accurately and cash is collected efficiently. Your attention to detail and analytical mindset enable you to navigate the intricacies of revenue accounting while maintaining compliance with internal controls.
What you'll do
In this role, you will build and lead the revenue accounting function from the ground up, establishing processes and policies that align with Saronic's growth objectives. You will oversee all aspects of revenue accounting and invoicing, ensuring compliance with ASC 606. Collaborating closely with business development and legal teams, you will support contract structuring and negotiations, playing a key role in the company's financial operations.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing scalable revenue recognition processes, ensuring accurate reporting and timely invoicing. Your role will involve continuous improvement of internal controls and accounting practices, contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance department. You will also provide insights and recommendations to senior management regarding revenue trends and accounting practices.
