What you'll do

In this role, you will manage inventory and provide recommendations for AWS Savings Plans and Reserved Instances, ensuring optimal cloud resource utilization. You will drive the financial evaluation of cloud-related engineering investments and partnerships, engaging with stakeholders to promote a culture of cost awareness. Your responsibilities will include supporting the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes for enterprise-wide cloud spending, as well as analyzing consumption patterns and capacity management.

You will work closely with various teams to help them understand their cloud expenses and how they relate to their business goals. Your expertise in cloud expense management using the FinOps discipline will be crucial in optimizing costs and improving financial outcomes. You will also engage in continuous learning about Amazon Cloud services and other cloud platforms, staying ahead of industry trends and best practices.
