You are an experienced AV VC Engineer with a strong background in installing and integrating video-conferencing and AV equipment. Your technical knowledge includes working with systems like Cisco, Zoom, and Crestron, and you have a high level of professionalism and customer awareness. You are comfortable with cabling installations, including soldering, crimping, and terminations, and have a solid understanding of IT network infrastructures. Your ability to diagnose and repair AV systems is complemented by your engineering health and safety training, ensuring you can conduct risk assessments effectively.

You thrive in a dynamic work environment, often traveling to different client sites, and you enjoy the freedom and flexibility that comes with the role. What you'll do

As an AV VC Engineer at DMS, you will be an integral part of our field engineering team, responsible for the installation and configuration of a wide range of video conferencing and integrated audio and video equipment. You will work with various technologies, including Cisco, Zoom, Polycom, and Crestron, ensuring that all systems are set up to meet client specifications. Your role will involve conducting preventative maintenance checks and performing diagnosis and repair on existing systems to ensure optimal performance.

You will collaborate closely with project managers and other technicians to deliver an individualized service to customers, exceeding their expectations. Your responsibilities will include completing all cabling installation requirements, understanding rack building and wiring, and ensuring compliance with engineering health and safety standards. You will also be expected to travel extensively to client sites, adapting to different work environments and client needs.
