Who you are

You have extensive experience in audio-visual technology, particularly in video conferencing systems. Your technical knowledge allows you to install and integrate a wide range of AV equipment, ensuring high-quality solutions tailored to customer needs. You possess strong troubleshooting skills and can perform preventative maintenance checks, diagnosis, and repair of AV systems. Your ability to work independently and travel to different client sites is essential for this role. You also have supervisory experience, guiding junior technicians and ensuring project success.

Desirable

Experience with various AV technologies and a solid understanding of IT network infrastructures will set you apart. Familiarity with cabling installations, including soldering and crimping, is a plus. You are committed to engineering health and safety practices, including conducting risk assessments.

What you'll do

As a Senior AV VC Technician, you will be responsible for the installation and configuration of video conferencing and integrated audio and video equipment. This includes working with systems from Cisco, Zoom, Polycom, and others. You will participate in the full installation process, from soldering cables to integrating complex presentation systems. Your role will involve collaborating with clients to understand their needs and delivering tailored AV solutions. You will also conduct preventative maintenance checks and repairs, ensuring that all systems function optimally. Your flexibility and ability to adapt to different work environments will be crucial as you travel to various client sites.
