Who you are

You have a strong background in engineering management with a focus on reliability and observability β€” you've successfully led teams in building scalable and reliable systems. Your experience includes working with Site Reliability Engineers and fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.

You possess deep technical knowledge in observability tools and practices β€” you understand logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting, and can guide your team in implementing best practices. Your leadership style emphasizes psychological safety and team empowerment, ensuring that your engineers can thrive and grow.

You are comfortable working in an agile environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams β€” you have a proven track record of partnering with product, design, and business teams to deliver innovative solutions that improve user experiences. Your strategic planning skills enable you to align team goals with organizational objectives.

Desirable

Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and secrets management solutions such as HashiCorp Vault is a plus. Familiarity with cloud platforms and observability frameworks will enhance your ability to lead the team effectively.

What you'll do

As the Engineering Manager for the Observability & Reliability Engineering team, you will lead a group of Site Reliability Engineers dedicated to shaping Doctolib's observability strategy. Your responsibilities include coaching and developing your team, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to excel in their roles.

You will drive the evolution of Doctolib's observability platform, focusing on building a reliable, debuggable, and scalable infrastructure. This involves overseeing the implementation of logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting systems that are critical for maintaining service reliability.

You will create a culture of operational excellence within your team, promoting continuous improvement and innovation. Your role will also involve strategic planning to enhance organizational capabilities around observability and reliability, ensuring that the infrastructure can support the exponential growth of Doctolib services.

Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with product, design, and business teams to align technical initiatives with business goals. You will also be responsible for managing critical transversal services that enable secure and scalable infrastructure management across the organization.
