Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and familiarity with tools like Firebase and BigQuery will set you apart. What you'll do

As a Backend Engineer at DoorDash, you will be responsible for developing, releasing, and running large-scale web applications that power the SevenRooms platform. You will define the backend architecture and tech stack for specific product areas, ensuring that our systems are robust and scalable. Your role will involve improving the performance and reliability of our backend systems, as well as enhancing security measures to protect user data.

You will play a key role in transitioning our existing monolithic codebase to a microservice-based architecture, which will enable greater flexibility and scalability as we grow. Collaborating with a team of engineers, you will contribute to the design and implementation of new features that enhance the overall user experience for restaurant operators.

Your work will directly impact the hospitality industry, as you help create technology solutions that enable restaurants to build direct relationships with their customers and drive repeat business.
