Who you are
You have 3+ years of professional experience working in data engineering, business intelligence, or a similar role — you understand the intricacies of data management and the importance of reliable data for decision-making. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java is second nature to you, allowing you to develop robust data solutions that meet business needs. Your expertise in ETL orchestration and workflow management tools like Airflow, Flink, Oozie, and Azkaban using AWS or GCP sets you apart as a technical powerhouse in the field. You are also well-versed in database fundamentals, SQL, and distributed computing, enabling you to design and implement high-performance data models.
Desirable
Experience with data quality checks and monitoring routines is a plus, as you understand the importance of maintaining trustworthy data. You are excited about onboarding and supporting other engineers, fostering a collaborative environment where knowledge sharing is encouraged. Your ability to work with business partners and stakeholders to understand data requirements showcases your strong communication skills and your commitment to delivering high-quality data products.
What you'll do
