What you'll do

As an Insurance Claims Specialist at DoorDash, you will be responsible for managing auto insurance claims from inception to resolution. You will collaborate closely with our insurance carrier partners and third-party claims administrators to ensure that claims are handled efficiently and effectively. Your role will involve developing and implementing strategies for claims handling, which will help mitigate risk and enhance the company's bottom line.

You will report directly to the Insurance Claims Manager and will be expected to participate in regular team meetings to discuss ongoing claims and strategies. Your insights will be crucial in shaping the direction of the claims operations within the Risk & Insurance team. You will also be involved in training and onboarding new team members, sharing your expertise and best practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

In addition to claims management, you will analyze claims data to identify trends and areas for improvement. This data-driven approach will help inform decision-making and enhance the overall effectiveness of the claims handling process. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and documentation related to claims, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
