Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in product design, with at least 5 years of experience focusing on user experience and research. You are skilled in Figma and have a deep understanding of human-centered design principles. Your experience includes designing for complex systems and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions. You are comfortable working independently and are adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously. You have a passion for creating seamless user experiences that enhance the employee lifecycle, from hiring to offboarding. You are a proactive communicator who can articulate design decisions and advocate for user needs within the organization.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own the end-to-end design process for key experiences across hiring, onboarding, talent management, and employee support. You will conduct user research to gather insights and validate design concepts, ensuring that the solutions you create meet the needs of various user groups, including employees, managers, and HR teams. You will collaborate closely with engineering, HR, and analytics teams to build a cohesive operating system that integrates human-centered design with automation and AI. Your responsibilities will include creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, as well as conducting usability testing to refine your designs. You will also be responsible for maintaining design consistency across custom-built applications and SaaS tools. Your work will directly impact how employees interact with DoorDash's technology, making it essential for you to stay updated on design trends and best practices.
