Desirable

Experience with cloud-based solutions and a strong understanding of file synchronization and sharing technologies would be advantageous. What you'll do

As a Senior Engineering Manager at Dropbox, you will lead a team of 12-20 engineers focused on the Core AI Platform. Your primary responsibility will be to drive the integration of AI into Dropbox's flagship File Sync & Share product, ensuring that the team delivers high-quality solutions that enhance user experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to define the strategy for AI integrations and oversee the development of new platform capabilities.

You will be responsible for creating a culture of operational excellence within your team, encouraging a bias for action and continuous improvement. Your role will involve setting clear goals and expectations for your team, conducting regular performance reviews, and providing mentorship to help engineers reach their full potential. You will also work closely with product managers to align engineering efforts with business objectives, ensuring that the team delivers impactful results.

In addition to leading your team, you will evaluate AI models for specific use cases and advise on the best approaches for implementation. You will leverage your expertise in distributed systems to design scalable and fault-tolerant architectures that support the integration of AI capabilities into existing workflows. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be crucial in driving the success of your team.
