You have a strong background in full-stack development, with a BS degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience. You possess expertise in designing, developing, and scaling web applications, ensuring that user experiences are seamless and efficient. Your proficiency in both front-end and back-end technologies, including JavaScript, React, Angular, HTML/CSS, Node.js, and Python, allows you to create robust solutions that meet user needs. You are familiar with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB, enabling you to manage data effectively and optimize performance. You thrive in collaborative environments, fostering strong relationships with cross-functional teams to drive impactful product enhancements. You are proactive in your communication, regularly sharing insights and progress with your team and leadership. You are excited about the opportunity to work on AI-enabled products, contributing to Dropbox's mission of rapid prototyping and reliable deployment of innovative functionalities.
What you'll do
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at Dropbox, you will take ownership of key product areas, leading initiatives from data discovery through design, implementation, and deployment. You will develop customer-centric prototypes, focusing on user needs and feedback to create new product explorations. Your role will involve collaborating across teams, working closely with other engineering teams and cross-functional partners to ensure successful project outcomes. You will play a leadership role in designing scalable architectures, driving impactful product enhancements that align with Dropbox's strategic goals. You will also be involved in on-call rotations, being available for calls during both core and non-core business hours, ensuring that services run smoothly and efficiently. Your contributions will directly impact the user experience, making Dropbox a more user-friendly platform.
What we offer
At Dropbox, we offer a competitive compensation package, with a pay range of $190,400—$257,600 CAD.
