Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in building user-facing applications on web and/or desktop platforms. Your expertise includes front-end technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML5, and CSS3, allowing you to create engaging and efficient user interfaces. You are also proficient in backend development technologies like Golang and Python, which enables you to build robust and scalable solutions. Your experience includes working with large distributed systems at scale, and you are comfortable navigating the complexities that come with them.
You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with product managers, data scientists, and machine learning engineers. You are adept at translating business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring that the software you develop meets user needs and drives engagement. You are comfortable with ambiguity and can pivot directions as needed, making you a valuable asset in a fast-paced, innovative setting.
Desirable
Experience with AI/ML technologies is a plus, as you will be involved in enhancing knowledge work through personalized AI-powered experiences. Familiarity with Dropbox's mission and products will help you align your work with the company's goals and contribute to its vision of simplifying the way people work together.
What you'll do
In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, developing, and maintaining AI-powered software applications.
