You are a Senior Product Designer with a strong focus on iOS design systems — you have a proven track record of influencing design language and ensuring product consistency across platforms. Your experience includes collaborating closely with engineers, product managers, and brand designers to create elegant and user-friendly mobile experiences. You understand the importance of accessibility and usability standards, and you are committed to championing these principles in your work.
With a deep understanding of design-to-code handoff processes, you have successfully led initiatives that improve design velocity without compromising on craft. You are passionate about continuous improvement and innovation in design systems practices, and you thrive in environments where you can mentor other designers and contribute to a positive design culture.
Your familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices sets you apart — you believe that great design should be accessible to all users. You are also interested in visual asset systems, including iconography and motion design, which enhances your ability to create cohesive and engaging user experiences.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the definition, design, and documentation of reusable iOS-focused design system components, patterns, and guidelines. You will collaborate with product designers to ensure consistency across features while meeting platform-specific needs. Your partnership with engineering teams will be crucial as you build, test, and deliver robust design system components that enhance user experience.
You will drive the adoption of the design system through education, governance, and advocacy across cross-functional teams, ensuring that all stakeholders understand and utilize the design principles effectively. Your contributions will directly influence how millions of users experience Dropbox on mobile, making your role highly impactful.
You will also contribute to the design system roadmap, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
