Who you are
You have a strong background in product design, with a proven ability to lead design efforts in remote or distributed team environments — you've successfully driven collaboration across time zones and organizational silos. Your experience includes scaling onboarding, freemium, or pricing flows in self-serve SaaS environments, showcasing your understanding of user needs and business objectives. A background working with AI-powered tools or interfaces is preferred, reflecting your adaptability to emerging technologies.
You excel in simplifying complex workflows and enhancing user experiences for multiple customers — your design philosophy blends customer empathy with innovation, ensuring that every design decision adds value. You are comfortable defining high-level opportunities and bringing clarity to challenges, working closely with design directors to transform user experiences and business outcomes.
What you'll do
As a Staff Product Designer at Dropbox, you will take ownership of strategic, design-led projects, driving them from concept to delivery. You will collaborate with the Design Director to identify key initiatives where your expertise can guide the team toward customer-centered, innovative outcomes. Your role will involve working with the broader design organization to ensure that all designs are executed to the highest standards of craftsmanship and usability.
You will focus on problem definition, defining high-level opportunities that have the potential to transform user experiences. Your strategic insights will help bring clarity and focus to the challenges faced by the Teams & Collaboration design group. You will also be responsible for simplifying existing customer experiences for creating and expanding Teams, identifying opportunities to create new value for collaboration on Dropbox.

Dropbox offers a competitive compensation package, with a pay range of $178,500—$241,500 CAD.
