Who you are
You have at least 12 years of experience in a technology discipline, with a strong focus on cybersecurity for the last 8 years. Your background includes a deep understanding of security compliance and privacy frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO27001, HIPAA, CSA STAR, and NIST. You are well-versed in the OWASP Top-10 Web Application Vulnerabilities and can identify related risks and countermeasures effectively. Your knowledge extends to encryption fundamentals, including At-Rest and In-Motion Encryption protocols like TLS/SSL, BCrypt, PKI, SHA1, and AES. Additionally, you possess a solid understanding of AWS and the security controls that are native to the platform.
Desirable
You have experience leading security culture improvement initiatives, particularly around phishing and security awareness. Your ability to build trust and confidence in data security, privacy, and compliance posture is a key asset. You thrive in environments where you can drive execution and improvement in security practices, and you are passionate about fostering a culture of security awareness within the organization.
What you'll do
As the Senior Manager, Security Assurance, you will be responsible for overseeing all initiatives aimed at enhancing Druva's data security and compliance posture. You will lead the Third-Party Risk Management program, ensuring that all third-party relationships align with security standards and best practices. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to implement security measures that protect customer data from threats. You will also drive the execution of security culture improvement initiatives, focusing on phishing and security awareness training for employees. Your leadership will be crucial in building a robust security framework that supports the company's mission to safeguard business data in an interconnected world.
