You have a strong background in educational design and pedagogy, with experience leading teams to create impactful learning experiences. Your expertise in language learning methodologies allows you to drive curriculum quality and innovation at a global scale. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product, design, and engineering teams to translate educational theories into engaging in-app experiences. You are data-driven, utilizing A/B testing and success metrics to inform your decisions and improve learning outcomes. You are passionate about education and committed to making it universally accessible, aligning with Duolingo's mission to develop the best education in the world.
Desirable
Experience in language learning or educational technology is a plus, as is familiarity with CEFR-aligned progress metrics. You have a track record of successfully leading multi-disciplinary teams and fostering a culture of experimentation and innovation. Your ability to analyze data and derive insights will be crucial in driving the effectiveness of learning experiences.
What you'll do
As the Director of Learning Design, you will set the vision for Duolingo's language-learning experiences, ensuring they are effective and engaging for users.
