Who you are
You have a strong background in leadership development and organizational learning, with a proven track record of designing impactful training programs that enhance leadership capabilities. You understand the nuances of adult learning principles and can translate complex concepts into practical, engaging learning experiences. Your experience includes working closely with senior leadership to align training initiatives with organizational goals, ensuring that learning is both relevant and measurable.
You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships across various levels of the organization. You are adept at facilitating discussions and workshops that foster collaboration and innovation. Your analytical mindset allows you to assess the effectiveness of training programs and make data-driven decisions to continuously improve learning outcomes.
What you'll do
As the Head of Duolingo Academy, you will define the vision and strategy for the leadership development program, focusing initially on managers of managers. You will design and deliver a portfolio of leadership programs that are engaging and impactful, ensuring they align with Duolingo's mission and values. You will collaborate with People leadership and senior executives to identify key leadership competencies and develop frameworks that support leaders in their growth.
You will iterate on existing programs based on feedback and assessment data, ensuring that they remain relevant and effective in meeting the needs of the organization. You will also explore adjacent capability areas to expand the Academy's offerings over time, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within Duolingo.
