What you'll do
As a Quantitative Researcher at Engineers Gate, you will be responsible for developing and implementing systematic trading strategies. You will leverage the firm's proprietary technology and data platform to conduct deep data analysis, generate ideas, and backtest your strategies. Your role will involve collaborating with portfolio managers and other team members to optimize alpha research and enhance trading performance. You will be expected to lead projects from inception to deployment, ensuring that your strategies are robust and effective in real market conditions. Continuous improvement is key, and you will regularly analyze the performance of your strategies to identify areas for enhancement. You will also participate in team discussions, sharing insights and contributing to the overall research agenda of the firm.
