You have a strong portfolio showcasing your design work and a passion for creating intuitive, research-driven solutions that resonate with users. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and UX Researchers to understand user needs and translate them into effective design solutions. Your experience includes conducting user research activities such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing, allowing you to gather valuable insights that inform your design decisions. You are adept at using design tools like Figma to create high-fidelity prototypes and wireframes that effectively communicate your ideas.

What you'll do

In this role, you will partner closely with cross-functional teams to dig deep into user needs, shaping innovative solutions that align with Elastic’s vision. You will conduct user research activities to gather insights and validate design concepts, ensuring that your designs are user-centered and effective. You will be responsible for creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that communicate your ideas clearly and effectively. Collaborating with engineers, you will ensure that your designs are implemented accurately and meet user needs. You will also participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to your peers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the design team.
