Who you are

You have a strong background in product marketing, ideally with experience in evidence-based industries such as pharma, medtech, or academic research. You understand the nuances of market positioning and can navigate ambiguity to create effective marketing strategies. Your ability to conduct user and market insights research allows you to surface pain points and workflow gaps that inform product development and marketing efforts. You are comfortable working in a startup environment and can wear multiple hats as needed.

You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate value propositions and messaging frameworks to diverse customer segments. Your experience in planning and executing product launches equips you to partner effectively with product and sales teams, ensuring that marketing efforts align with business objectives. You are data-driven and can measure the outcomes of marketing campaigns to refine strategies continuously.

Desirable

Experience in highly regulated industries is a plus, as is familiarity with SaaS packaging and pricing strategies. You thrive in dynamic environments and are eager to contribute to a growing team.

What you'll do

As the founding Product Marketing Manager at Elicit, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's go-to-market strategy. You will conduct extensive research to understand the needs of academic researchers, R&D labs, and other industry users, identifying their pain points and value metrics. This research will inform your approach to positioning and messaging, allowing you to define and test value propositions tailored to various customer segments.

You will collaborate closely with product and sales teams to plan and execute major product launches, defining launch strategies and campaigns while measuring their success. Your role will also involve equipping the sales team with essential enablement materials, ensuring they have the tools needed to communicate effectively with potential customers.
