You'll work closely with sales and product teams to create materials that drive enterprise demand. This role requires a strong understanding of market dynamics and effective communication skills.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in product marketing, ideally with experience in technology or software engineering. You understand how to translate complex technical capabilities into clear business outcomes, making you an effective communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are data-informed, using buyer behavior insights to refine messaging and collateral. You have a passion for understanding customer needs and shaping how new technologies are perceived in the market. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with sales, product, and marketing teams to drive alignment and success. You are proactive in building sales-ready assets that empower teams to close deals effectively.
Desirable
Experience in a fast-paced startup environment is a plus, as is familiarity with enterprise sales processes. A background in software engineering or a related field can enhance your ability to communicate technical concepts effectively. You are comfortable leading marketing initiatives for product launches and have a knack for storytelling that resonates with diverse audiences.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own the product positioning for Droids, developing and refining core narratives that articulate their value across the engineering lifecycle. You will create sales-ready assets such as pitch decks, one-pagers, and solution briefs that help sales teams guide customers from curiosity to deployment. You will partner deeply with go-to-market (GTM) and business operations teams, collaborating with account executives and solutions engineers to understand what moves enterprise buyers. You will lead marketing efforts for product launches, ensuring that sales teams are enabled on day one and that customers understand the impact of new features. Your storytelling skills will be crucial as you turn complex workflows into clear, outcome-driven narratives that demonstrate how engineering teams can increase velocity and reduce operational overhead.
What we offer
Factory provides a collaborative work environment where you can make a significant impact on how new technologies are understood and adopted. You will work in our San Francisco office, which fosters teamwork and innovation. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds. Join us in shaping the future of software engineering through effective product marketing.
