You have a strong background in healthcare technology and digital transformation solutions, with a focus on EMR integrations and data interoperability. Your experience includes gathering and analyzing business requirements, creating software architecture, and developing data interface specifications. You are proficient in FHIR standards and have a solid understanding of clinical data mapping and integration strategies.

You possess technical expertise in cloud-based solutions, particularly on public cloud platforms like GCP. Your familiarity with integration platforms such as IBM Integration Bus and Mirth Connect enables you to provide effective solutions for real-time and batch processing. You are adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive engineering initiatives and ensure successful project outcomes.

What you'll do

In this role, you will gather and analyze business requirements to create software architecture and data interface specifications. You will be responsible for gathering requirements for EMR integrations utilizing HL7, X12, CCDs, EDI, and FHIR/API data standards. Your expertise will guide the data mapping process for clinical data from existing systems to the FHIR data model, ensuring seamless integration and interoperability.

You will build strategies and recommend approaches for integrating systems using FHIR standards, providing technical guidance on implementing FHIR-based clinical data repositories on public cloud platforms like GCP. Your role will also involve driving engineering efforts to develop cloud-based integration and data products, leveraging your knowledge of integration platforms for effective real-time and batch processing.
