You have a strong background in accounting, with experience in month-end close processes and financial analysis. You understand the importance of accuracy in financial transactions and are committed to driving operational improvements. Your attention to detail ensures that all financial entries are recorded correctly, and you are comfortable working with complex tasks related to plant operations.

You possess excellent analytical skills, allowing you to assist in balance sheet reconciliations and contribute to bi-weekly forecasts and annual budgets. Your ability to support analyses for improving forecast accuracy demonstrates your proactive approach to decision-making in finance.

What you'll do

In this role, you will prepare journal entries and supporting documentation during the corporate monthly financial close, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded. You will assist the Plant Controller with balance sheet reconciliations and help complete bi-weekly forecasts and the annual budget. Your contributions will support analyses aimed at improving operational decision-making and forecast accuracy.

You will also manage accounts payable by receiving and reconciling invoices to purchase orders, ensuring that all invoices are properly matched and approved for payment. Your attention to detail will be crucial in tracking sales tax and maintaining accurate financial records.
