Who you are

You have a strong background in accounting, with experience in month-end close processes and financial analysis. Your attention to detail ensures that financial transactions are accurately recorded, and you are comfortable working with complex tasks related to plant operations. You possess excellent organizational skills and can manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

You are familiar with accounts payable processes, including invoice reconciliation and three-way matching. Your ability to communicate effectively with team members and vendors helps facilitate smooth operations. You are proactive in identifying areas for operational improvement and are committed to driving process efficiency.

What you'll do

In this role, you will prepare journal entries and supporting documentation during the corporate monthly financial close. You will assist the Plant Controller with balance sheet reconciliations and contribute to bi-weekly forecasts and the annual budget. Your analytical skills will support efforts to improve forecast accuracy and operational decision-making.

You will be responsible for receiving and reconciling invoices to purchase orders, ensuring that all necessary approvals are obtained for payments. Your role will involve tracking sales tax on vendor invoices and maintaining accurate records to assist the Plant Controller in financial reporting.
