Overview
Enviva is hiring an Electrical Technician to troubleshoot electrical issues and perform maintenance in a manufacturing environment. This role requires electrical experience and a high school diploma or GED.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a high school diploma or GED, and ideally an associate's degree. With two to three years of manufacturing experience and four years of electrical experience, you have demonstrated your ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively. You possess strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, along with excellent communication skills. Attention to detail is crucial in your work, and you thrive in a team-oriented environment while adhering to compliance and safety regulations.
What you'll do
As an Electrical Technician at Enviva, you will troubleshoot electrical issues related to PLCs, motor control centers, and various electrical devices. Your responsibilities will include performing electrical field work in a continuous manufacturing environment, completing work orders, and conducting preventative maintenance as needed. You will also conduct periodic inspections and operate heavy equipment, ensuring that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
