Electrical Technician • Entry-Level

Who you are

You have a high school diploma or GED, with an associate's degree preferred. You bring two to three years of manufacturing experience and four years of electrical experience, demonstrating your ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively. Your strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities enable you to tackle electrical issues efficiently. You possess excellent communication skills and are proficient in basic computer knowledge, ensuring you can complete work orders and preventative maintenance as needed. You are a team player who adheres to compliance, rules, and safety regulations, and you are safety conscientious in all your tasks.

What you'll do

As an Electrical Technician at Enviva, you will troubleshoot electrical issues related to PLCs, motor control centers, and all electrical devices. You will perform electrical field work in a continuous manufacturing environment, ensuring that all equipment operates smoothly. Your responsibilities will include completing work orders and conducting periodic inspections, as well as operating heavy equipment as required. You will also be expected to perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of the manufacturing process.
