Who you are
You have a strong background in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment — your experience includes leading teams to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency. You understand the importance of safety performance and have a proven track record of driving improvements in maintenance operations. Your technical expertise allows you to effectively manage breakdowns and optimize maintenance costs, ensuring that production targets and quality objectives are met.
You are skilled in collaborating with corporate teams to implement effective maintenance methods and procedures — your ability to analyze data and improve Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) is crucial in reducing downtime and enhancing technician productivity. You have experience managing a team of mechanics and electricians, holding them accountable for their performance while fostering a culture of safety and quality.
What you'll do
As the Maintenance Manager, you will lead the plant maintenance operations, focusing on driving equipment reliability and operational efficiency. You will partner closely with the Corporate Reliability team to implement maintenance strategies that minimize downtime and optimize the utilization of technicians and assets. Your role will involve coaching and managing a team of 15 to 17 mechanics and electricians, ensuring they adhere to defined maintenance procedures and job plans.
You will be responsible for addressing unexpected breakdowns effectively, directing your team and contractors to resolve issues promptly. Your technical expertise will be vital in increasing the number of zero breakdown machines and reducing recurring breakdowns. You will work collaboratively with manufacturing teams to achieve production targets and quality objectives, ensuring that the plant operates smoothly and efficiently.
