Overview

Enviva is hiring a Shift Supervisor to lead and manage operations at their facility in Garysburg, NC. You'll be responsible for ensuring efficient and safe operations while maintaining high-quality output. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of industrial or manufacturing experience.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, ideally with a background in wood products. You are proficient in basic computer knowledge and possess strong attention to detail. Your self-motivation drives you to maintain high standards of performance and safety in the workplace. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to effectively lead your team and report on production progress.

What you'll do

As a Shift Supervisor at Enviva, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the plant, ensuring that key performance indicators related to safety, quality, production, and cost are met. You will assign tasks to team members, monitor productivity, and address any issues that arise on the production floor. Your role will involve maintaining documentation on employee performance and accountability to drive performance improvements. You will ensure that a safe working environment is established and maintained, enforcing good housekeeping standards and conducting regular shift meetings to communicate goals and expectations.
