Who you are
You have at least 1 year of experience working in events or the hospitality industry, which has equipped you with the skills to provide excellent customer service. You are detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in all tasks, and you are proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Your ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers makes you a valuable team member. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to engage with professionals across various functions to ensure the success of the event.
What you'll do
As a User Conference Event Assistant, you will be responsible for processing registrations and payments from attendees and sponsors, ensuring a smooth registration experience. You will maintain submissions for the map gallery and presentations, communicating with presenters, attendees, sponsors, and staff via phone and email to address any event-related questions. Your organizational skills will be put to use as you input and track data across various spreadsheets to monitor event activities, materials, and schedules. You will also assist the team with other event-related tasks as needed, contributing to the overall success of the conference.
